Lovely job Mailee. Did you raise the panels on the doors yourself on the router table as they look wquite large and I wondered how you got on?

Hi guys. I am afraid I have no pics of WIP I didn't even think to take any while building it. Duh! It is a cupboard for a customer of mine to match some of the other furniture he has. Yes Tony I did raise the panels myself on the router table. They are quite a deep profile and it took a few passes to raise them. I have the Power pro router installed in the table and although it is 2050W it just does not have enough power for the large cutters like this. I think that is where the electronic control comes in handy in routers like the DW625. I do have one of these too but use it for kitchen fitting so am not prepared to mount it in the table. I am on the lookout for another DW625 or Elu 177 at the moment for this use. Also the panel raising set I have is one of the E-bay cheapies and they are not too bright either but all in all it turned out OK I think. This is the last project for the time being as I am out of the country in a weeks time for a month but have the order books full for my return. Thanks for the nice comments guys glad you liked it. This style is one of my favourites too even though I don't like working in Pine too much.

Here are a few pics of the inside and the details.
The shelf is adjustable and sits on wedges located into holes cut in the sides. The carcass is made from Pine or what the timber merchants sell as Pine nowadays. The draw is a standard setup with router cut dovetails at the front and rebates at the rear.
The drawer frames and the bottom are rebated into the sides with dabs of glue and brads and the drawer runners are hardwood with PTFE for friction free movement.
The rear panel is 3/8" ply which sits in a recess. Finally it stands on feet made out of 2" square stock which reinforce the bottom mouldings.
All of the timber is 3/4" stock and there is no finish on it as the customer is going to wax it himself.
