My first spray / veneer project

I took the plunge and decided to get into veneering and spraying. My first project was to take a Cotswold company piece of furniture and do a bit of a transformation on it as it was looking tired.

It went from looking like this

I am now thinking of making a few more contemporary pieces

Great job with the grain on the veneering and the spraying. Not sure about the handles but I suppose that is personal choice.

Thanks. I did say that to the Wife, but she insisted that we match those of the kitchen. I would have gone for a contemporary handle or slot cut out of the drawer front

Thanks. I used morrells water based 65% sheen pigmented white lacquer and 85% clear lacquer for the drawers. I sprayed it using my Earlex HV5000 HVLP spray station. It was my first spray attempt and I was really surprised at how easy it was to get a good finish with the Earlex
