Wow . . . astonishing for a first attempt.Mind you,you do have a good saw ;-)

I think my first attempt was an Easter bunny out of B&Q pine. No inside cuts, just the outline. I felt pretty chuffed with it so I'm sure you must be over the moon.

Very well done and good luck with the rest of your projects.

Very nice :D Did you make the bottom bit on the saw? Is it once piece or two or three glued up? That Cherry looks a beautiful wood, never seen any up close.

Hi Pete yes its all made on the scroll saw no lathe work at all, its is a lovely piece of wood rescued from the log burner. Got to agree with you Brian its a quality tool and less annoying to release the blade than I thought it would be maybe as I get quicker it will be a problem so far though well chuffed.

Hopefully I'll have some time to spend on mine over the coming week. I've only taken the blade out once to see how it was done, and at the same time swopped the top clamp over
for the quick release one.

It's a lovely piece you have made from a wood which was due for the fire!
