My first project

Hi Everyone, just thought i'd show a pic of my first ever project. Admitedly, I'm pretty rubish at DIY, but i needed a workbench and found a magazine from the USA with a "weekend" project in it.

Only half way through, and i have had to cut all the wood myself, so it's not all 100% accurate .

Any feedback is welcome. Next step is to add a shelf onto the bottom supports, and add a bench top. Possibly going to have a vice as well



So far i've been using what was apparently mean to be leftover bits of wood for the support bits, but seeing as hows it's my first project the local DIY store got some hammering for their wood supplies

Looks a good,solid construction (which they need to be!) - a shelf and a top should make it into a very useful bench.I think it is better if the top overhangs the base slightly to give an edge to be able to clamp things to.

Looking forward to seeing the finished article.
