A seriously strong bench there, My pic attempts end up in the wild blue yonder.
what do you prefer to get up to in there, furniture, day to day repairs or what?
Regards Rodders

A bit of everything. My lathe is three feet away and parallel, so space is at a premium. It's cluttered more than usual underneath atm - stuff just got chucked out of the way for Xmas.
Bench design is a never ending subject, no one ever gets it quite right - there's always something else you could have done, or something you either wish you hadn't or else you did totally unnecessarily. :) If anyone's interested I'll get some more pics. and try to explain why it's like it is.

:D One extreme to the other really - a nice pre war No,8 and a chainsaw. I actually had the plane out for scale - the S.S. spill plane is on the back end of it, but I accidentally deleted the photo of it.

I like the way you've designed in plenty of weight to the bench to keep it nice and solid with many wood themed items loaded underneath as ballast.
