...well possibly not, but here's a scratch awl I made today in the style of the afore mentioned venerable tool maker;
Handle is Ebony, the brass ferrule was turned by my own fair hand. The point is turned from an A2 stainless bolt (I acquired quite a quantity of these from a sub-contactor who went bust on me) which seems quite effective.
I'll leave you to decide yourselves if this is a continuation of my recent turning epiphany, of the honing of my toolmaking skills prior to the festive season...
