Hello Jersey, welcome to the forum!
Can we have a clue about this 'yellow carving tool' never heard of anything like it.

It sounds like some kind of spam kinda thing TBH...
But I'm guessing that since you're here, it not for cutting meats? :)

Ahh, I see now
What you have is often called a flex or flexi shaft,
You will likely glean some inspiration by googling that.
Foredom and Proxxon might be the originals. and some Dremel tools use it also.
I have used a varispeed Dremel and it seemed powerful enough to me, so strange a drill wouldn't be able to have enough power.
These things might be best suited to something with a higher RPM, although I can't say that for a fact.
I've seen them used in applications for bench grinders before,
It seems like some of those mini bench grinders/polishers you get in Lidl sometimes, might have a higher RPM than a regular grinder, so I would investigate that.

If it can work with a regular grinder, then that's what I'd be looking to get,( if you don't have one already) as they are a handy tool to have around.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
Good luck
Tom
