This one was fun.
No power tools used.
How I got it.
Rusty, deformed and the working faces are soft.
After cleaning with electrolysis, hand tools I found a owners name.
Dam fine tool to harden and temper the tangs.
Head fixed with a new wedge and a resin fixing kit.
New shaft and lots of linseed oil.
The shaft was turned on a friend Copy lathe, but the wood was very dry.
