More Pens

This is my attempt at a pen and a pencil. Not sure what the timber is (got it in the raffle at woodturning club). The finish is boiled linseed oil and superglue. Got some micro mesh to finish up to 12000 grit. Didn't think it would make much difference but wouldn't do without it now. The box is a cheap one from Axminster (good deal for a couple of quid). They're the best pens I've made so far. The second was much more enjoyable as my confidence grew.

I haven't got a clue what wood these are and I'm not a big pen fan but these do look rather special.

nice pens dave, the next step is the cigar pen IMHO, i think you may like it, somewhat thicker and easier to make.
