Hi all,

Mahogany knobs seem to be very popular with my customers at the moment. Here are the last batch I made:

20 made from a diagram sent by by customer.

Hope you like,

ahh thats why Loz has got a free day with you, let me guess, he's making mahogany knobs

Look great mate, keep em coming..

They are really good and yes the first one is no problem, but the rest!

I have made several Staunton chess sets and by far the most difficult piece is the pawn. Trying to get 16 the same is a nightmare. Dead easy with a copy lathe, but nowhere near as satisfying me-thinks.

I also had a commision for 60 serviette rings for a Notts hotel and was I ever glad to see the last one done! Funnly enough, I made 6 yesterday, but eitirely different with no turning involved. Just some lovely box wood.

Well done Richard!
