mobile phone stand/holder

looking to make a mobile phone stand/holder. Ive searched lots of ideas on the net and pintrest e.t.c., but i was wondering what the best angle for the phone to rest at would be for such an item. Cant seem to find any info on this particular detail.

If the stand/holder is only for somewhere to simply store you phone when not in use , then a smallish angle so the phone is tilting slightly backwards is all you need. If you want to use it as a stand for viewing then you still need to have it tilted back, but need to consider the angle where you are viewing it from as the angle of view will change depending on how you are sitting/standing while looking at the screen . what works in one position may cause the screen to be unreadable in another due to the lighting in the room of use. Ideally you would want to be able to alter the angle if needed to give a clear view at all times .
I know that may not answer your question but it may help a little in deciding what is best for your viewing needs or maybe it won't
