mini pine cone/resin box

hello folks

here's a box I’ve just completed- its mini pine cones encased within a pearlescent red and silver resin
2 1/2" wide by 2 5/8" tall

Very nice. its amazing how those resin blanks look like marble when finished. I really like the shape and form. =D>

That's really stunning colours but I wouldn't know it was pine cones. Did you make the blank yourself or buy it in?

The material is fascinating George, could sit and look at it for ages, and you've got the form pretty much perfect.

I might take the liberty of printing this one off and sticking it up by my lathe to try and get the form right myself
