Millers Falls #9 parts needed.

Hi all

I've just acquired a Millers Falls #9 Type 2, and it looks refurbable apart from the cutter and chip breaker, which are badly pitted. Any ideas of where replacements might be obtained?

Over here in the US, these are pretty common but somehow I don't think they are in the UK. There is a dealer here who might be able to help, and since you are looking for smaller parts, the shipping might not be all that bad. Go to this website:

just fill in the w's and com. I know it sounds strange, but he is a dealer in tools and old records; he just recently had a slight heart attack but was stented and is on the mend, so if you send him along an email he may be a bit late in reply but he will reply, and I am sure he can help you.
