With not much room, could I utilise my TS55 and track if I bought the Kapex MFT 800...
I know crosscutting will have limitations..would it work?.....just wondered!

Just to be clear, the MFT 800 is an older design, like the MFT 1080 but smaller. The MFT Kapex has the same side profiles as the MFT3, but is lower, so that the bed of the Kapex is the same height as an MFT3. As I understand it, if you have an MFT3 you could use the rail and support brackets from that on the Kapex MFT, but the Kapex MFT doesn't come with them.

A set of rail dogs is a much cheaper option for straightforward cuts, and the MFTC that Richard linked to above is a great option if you have the time to build one.
