Listed this on ebay recently but the deal fell through. I bought this a few months ago for one job with repeat components, but i already owned another lathe, and I dont have room for both sadly.
Its a heavy duty floorstanding beast, all very solidly made. Mejix are a french brand, pre-chineseum.
1 metre between centres, with tool rest, work support, drive centre and 4 jaw chuck (came with it, not tried using it). It also has cover to go over the motor/belts.
The chain driven duplicator holds the tooling and runs along a chain, referencing a template attached to a bar via a wheel attached to the tool holder. The tooling is a V block, which was quite badly ground when i got it, but can easily be shaped and honed, and i was thinking it wouldnt be at all difficult to make up some tooling that held carbide cutters which might work better/be more adaptable.
Will also work perfectly well as a standard non-copy lathe, the duplicator unbolts very easily.
Im only after what i paid for it, which was £400.
Collection would be near Yate, south glos. Could palletise if you want to arrange shipping, we have a forklift.
Cheers
