We walked from Falmouth to Exeter, It was wonderful t-shirt and shorts all the way, we had about 2 hours heavy mist and that was it, sun shone I had a suntan all in October. We enjoyed this section overall more than the previous two sections although they had their moments like when we were nearly blown of Hartland point which our own David C will be familiar with. The pubs and fod and accomodation were all excellent. The last night was in Exeter the night of the rugby semi, spent in the local wetherspoons with the local college students. I have to confess I have felt better when just about to board a plane the next morning to go home, but better than my colleague who woke up at two in the morning with one shoe on, and one contact lense in and the other out. That's the trouble with these old timers can't handle their booze
I will be doing the exmouth to Poole section in May next year, as it's only 8 days worth, we'll start at Lyme Regis walk inland on the East Devon way to Exmouth and then walk the South west coast path proper.
