I've fitted the bamboo floor version in my house. It's fantastic - goes down like laminate but is so much more solid. Not a mark on it 2 years on.

Interesting development. Hope it takes off like bamboo has.

I also hope this means we'll see more hemp fibre used in clothing, not that the jeans companies will like this but it's many times more durable than cotton. Hemp used to be grown for fibre in America and it was only lobbying from the cotton industry that put an end to it. The world would be quite a different place if their fear-mongering tactics hadn't been successful.

Hempcrete was on Grand Designs years ago and it re-appeared a few weeks ago, bloke was mixing it with an old tractor.
