Marie Cure Cancer Care - Fundraising

Only 22 days to go! And then I’m doing my 10k walk in Shugborough for Marie Curie Cancer Care! So please help me to raise some more money for this great cause!

Here’s some info about what I’m doing:

On Saturday 3rd September 2011, 7pm I will be joining in with many others on a 10k walk thru the Shugborough Estate to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care! They provide care for terminally ill cancer patients and they do a great job doing so.
All funds raised will go towards building a new hospice in the West Midlands area, as the exisiting one is 100 years old and is reaching the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.
Currently I am aiming to raise £100 by myself, but this is only a small amount compared to what the charity is aiming to raise overall.
Marie Curie needs to raise £7million to make this happen and that is why your sponsorship for me taking part in this 10k walk is so vital!

So please, sponsor me with what you can as every penny counts!

Apoligies for not updating this thread.... The internet at home is off for a few days while we switchover to SKY.

I did the walk on Saturday evening and it took just over 2 hours at a enjoyable pace. Thankyou to everyone from this forum who has donated so far! There's still a couple more donations to come in (offline), although you can still donate online. But once the final donations have been recieved an official thankyou email will be sent out to everyone who has donated and left their email contact details.
