Manhole cover mortar mix

Hello All

I have two metal manhole cover that are rusted through, One in the lawn and one in a garden path. I intend to replace both. What mortar mix should I use and should I use building or sharp sand?
Any advice welcome.

Just a strong mortar, soft sand and no sharp at four to one.

Get a B125 or C250 cover. I thing the A15 ones are a bit bouncy. Bed it with 3 to1 sand cement.
