Did a bit of surfing, looking for a jig to cut splines at my mitred corners I found this and printed it out.

http://home.austin.rr.com/sawduster/Dov ... 0Boxes.htm

I converted the page to an Adobe pdf and then saved it again has a jpeg.
Opened up the file in paint shop pro, and used the magic wand on the yellow background and went to adjust/colour and changed the background yellow colour to white (altered each colour +100%)
and then printed it out on white background sheets of paper.

Looking around for a jig to do corner splines on the tablesaw if anyone knows of a good one (for boxes) I would be interested.

That's officially spooky. I was asked yesterday to make a stand/box for a Quorn cutter grinder and was thinking about doing the corners just like this. A few years ago I saw this done in a mag when a guy made a deep picture frame to house a fossil. He clamped the actual piece in a vice and used a jig and hand held router on top. The box I've been asked to make will be too wide to fit in a vice and I was scratching my head as to how to do it. Your post would work just great.
Thanks very much! :D
