A 600 x 350 side table made from an old mahogany gate leg table. The m and t's and dovetails turned well and I tried to give a more delicate look by tapering the legs and chamfering the table-top edge. I was uncertain about the corners of the top and ended up rounding them. The finish is 3 coats of matt Osmo Polyx Oil.

If you host the photos elsewhere (Imgur, for instance), just paste the URL in your post. There are other ways, but that is the simplest, and Imgur also allows automatic resizing to bring your photos to the right number of pixels. I'm looking forward to the piccies.... :D

ETA..........and bingo, there they are. =D>

Neat, classic, simple lines. Very nice indeed. Have you a photo from higher up, as we can't see the top.

Have you got a chair on the go in the background?

Mike,
Photo of top as requested. Thanks for the tip for loading piccies. Yes, the dining chair is my next project - if a success I'll make 3 more!

Thanks John. Yeah, that's nice. If I'm honest I think you could have made a nice contrasting wooden drawer handle rather than that brass (?) knob, which doesn't do the rest of your work justice. That aside........

Agreed about the knob. I haven't got the facilities to made my own and the small brass jobby was all I could find in my shed. I'm on the look-out for one more suitable.

nice table john, did you use turn buttons?

Yes. The screws pass through the button freely and are screwed tightly into the top. Seeing the table upside down again, the pozi screws look terrible. I shall change them for some better looking crosshead brass screws.
