Hi everyone,

I have some woodworking machines that i am looking to sell.

They are all second hand and much loved!
They are:

01. Wadkim Bursgreen 12in BAO/S 300 Surface planer and thicknesser.
02. Shopsmith Mark V Universal. This is a bandsaw, sander, lathe, and does much more too!
I also have a bandsaw and a compressor to sell. And a garage full of wood and various hand tools.

If any one is interested in any of these items or has any other questions then please PM me and i can e-mail you some photos.

These machines belonged to my uncle who had a passion and a love for carpentry, but has passed away. The machines are based in SW London.

Many Thanks, JD

I haven't had any response to my PM either.

Although there was a mysterious phone call, on some wood related matter, to my home phone number (which isn't in my profile on this forum), when I was at work. The caller said they were from Reading, and that they would phone back in the evening. But that was last Thursday, and no further call.

Quite a few of us have failed to get a response from this person. Having had a few problems with ebay fakers I suggest his post is removed before they managed to convince someone to part with cash upfront! :(

Have a bit of heart, being an executor is pretty time-intensive, and I'm sure that he/she has many other things to sort out.

They had the time to post the subject more than once! Lots of imposters use this " my grandfathers tools" nonsense for stuff they bought at a boot sale, it makes it sound like the stuff was well looked after. I personally won't be buying from them, now, as I've been burnt before.

Beginning to have my doubts now. No response able to post but claiming not to have a PC.

Until probate etc is sorted they're not his goods to sell but it looks like I'm not the only one beginnig to smell the rat.

I had an email conversation going with him which also seemed to die. I assume he got a buyer and decided not to bother telling the rest of us. It was all out of my price range anyway.

Would have been nice for him to tell us.
