I am looking to buy a machine tool stand just for a bench grinder. I have a small workshop. I have done a Google search and the only ones I can find the legs are to wide (splayed apart.) Can anybody suggest where I can find the smallest one?--leg spread.

Mikegtr....
here's 2 I made... both bases are 20mm plate but u could use and old car wheel rim...the grinder is a slow speed 3 phase and the linisher is 240v...the linisher is years old....have removed it's wheels and bolted it down to a pallet....all my work is done outside and it's easy to move stuff around with a forklift.......
they were used in my small over stuffed workshop.....
needed them on wheels as the lathes and milling machines were at each end of the w/shop....
very happy with them and also v/stable.....
I have seen wheel rims after welding topped up with concrete for extra balast....
not sure ready made stands are available as I would think elf n safety would frown upon it...

Could you sit it on a shelf attached to the workshop wall with a couple of bracing brackets. I had a 100kg morticer set up like this for 20 years. The shelf was two pieces of 18mm plywood laminated.
