the base will probably do ok, but it is not great. it is too low and the hole is plenty small enough. Personally, I would spend your £27 on wood, and a piece of worktop offset and make one.

The eBay one looks like the Rutlands one. I have one of these and it is solid- the fence is well made. They are normally about £100 without the featherboards.

This is a link for my recent build, althought the post is for the full Monty you may get an idea :idea: on the table itself. I bought an offcut for the top for £10 the rest of the timber about £20 worth.
