Got my LV BU Jack yesterday from F&C as the prize in the Readers Gallery in the current issue, so there's another plane to play around with at the MiniBash \/ tomorrow:

After my Lee Valley Low Angle Smoother the Low angle Jack is my next favorite plane, quite superb \/ (note no abbieviations :lol: )

Had a count up of all my planes and I only have 10 so what's the magic number.......once you reach double figures I 'spose then that's it, doomed to an ever steepening slither on the slippery slope - Rob

Wow, very nice. Look how much sole is in front of the mouth. That plane must balance itself!

(It's a bevel-up, low-angle jack, right?) My LN doesn't have near the sole your LV does.
