A mate of mine recently moved houses. The previous owner had made all of his kitchen units to a very high standard but were not to the liking of the new owner. Did I want the oak doors. 
To true I did, stile and rails 22mm, raised panels 18mm thick, and there were loads of them. Also he changed the front door, again solid oak home made.
So what could I do with all this oak.

To date I have made 4 tables, two given to friends. one to a lady training "dogs for the deaf" for a raffle and one to Tenovus after having cancer treatment.
6 jewellery boxes again given to the above along with 4 mirrors.
I am now making an outside table for the wife, and still have a load of oak left.
