Does anybody have the lidl/parkside pillar drill?

They are all very much of a muchness at that price point. The warranty would (in my opinion) make that a worthwhile purchase given that period will allow you to assess it's worth with some assurance.

Not seen a Parkside version myself but based on the product description / images my only concern would be that the table and base are pressed steel. Not uncommon but also not the best and some others near this price are cast. Good sized motor for its size.

Hi Sammy

You might want to read post1177471.html#p1177471 . My experience was a bad one.

I subsequently bought a Clarke bench top drill ( currently in for sale section) which was about twice the price , but much more usable & has served me very well.

Recently upgraded to the Bosch PBD40 which has been fine so far for <20mm holes, but had issues with e.g. a 1 1/2” forstner bit
