Looks niceJust had some logs dropped off this morning.
Diameter of the larger ones is 24" (600mm) approx.
Nothing too fancy, just Monterey pine (Radiata Pine) https://www.wood-database.com/radiata-pine/
I'll be getting a second load later today

It might end up being construction lumber but it was a good price, even with a tip for the driver.
Hmmmmm I see 8 potential bowls and a few small scraps thereWe were away in East Sussex this weekend at a gig …at a very nice country house venue. At the rear of the venue were 4 100+ year old oak trees and around the base of one of them were a collection of 2ft lengths of a fallen bough. A quick chat with the owners and I had a nice crotch piece - potential leg or two for a waterfall table

That's not clutter, it's adding to your stock portfolio!I'm supposed to be clearing the clutter at home not adding to it
Yes but not until the clowns that run the show have been back to reinspect the house at the end of JulyThat's not clutter, it's adding to your stock portfolio!
No change yet mate, V is back from her dog/house sitting at the end of the week giving us 4 weeks to get enough done to satisfy the clowns I work for, one room is full of bigger items so will start on that as we could clear it quickly and then will have the 2 spare rooms accessible leaving the main bedroom to do which is the worst of them all. For now I'm concentrating on today and will worry about tomorrow once the reinspection is done at then end of july and I know how things stand@Stig - how is the decluttering going, you've not said anything for a while, I hope everything is okay? All the very best.
Awwwww what cute little collection, you should show her my collection then she will never complain againI was evicted this week!
I will explain. Since I started this woodworking hobby (around COVID lockdown) I also started buying wood “offcuts” on eBay and timber yards. I would spend £20-30 every other month. As I didn’t have a workshop until recently, these offcuts were all scattered around the house: in the office, on top of the wardrobe, under the bed…
This week SWMBO gave me an ultimatum and evicted all wood to my new workshop., so I spent my afternoon organising everything.
