lenght of the screen is long

On some of the letters in the forum I have to scroll sideways yet on others I dont.
Why is this please?

Hi Reg

When someone posts a large jpeg it is not possible to fir it all on the display and this means you have to scroll sideways.

We do ask members to try and post reasonable sized photos.

It is also the reason we have a limit on avatar size.

neil, i also have the same problem - but only on certain posts, and they don't contain images.

It is rare, and not predictable, but definetly happens

The other thing that causes a wide screen is long URL links, they don't normally have spaces in and the forum software will only word wrap on a space.
With my MOD hat on I try and replace many of these links with the alternative version for the URL tags, but some cannot be done, the use of 'odd' characters in the URL stops the forum software from work correctly.
You may of guessed I can't stand scrolling sideways to read a post. ](*,)
