Is this really such a good lathe considering it doesn't have variable speed? I've always considered the next step up from my Axminster M900 to be a lathe with full electronic variable speed.

BTW. I'm on the lookout for such a lathe so if you see one can you PM me please.

If I'd spent that much on a present I'd be rather upset it was being sold at a loss on Ebay rather than them trying to change it with the original dealer.
I tend to wonder which lorry it fell off when I see "unwanted present" ... :evil:
