A bit more info

excuse my lack of technical terminoligy - I am self taught :)

the black board is just a panel in groves with the groves extended to the top to make the rails fit with short tenons

The Rocking horse I made by cutting the basic shape out twice and then carving it with one of those chain saw type attachments for your angle grinder. Finished of with a palm sander and chisel - joined together with oak pegs / dowels

the cradle I got the design from a book from the library. Theres a bit of turning (spindles and finials) a bit of re-sawing (panels) and dowel joints (it was before I got my morticer ! ) lots of nice angle - really enjoyed making that one !

all finished with danish oil and wax

I like the blackboard, one for the list I think ;)
