My daughter has been asking for candle holders for a wee while, so having a day off yesterday I got some "scrap" cherry out of the waste bin. A very simple design, mainly done with the skew. My first proper attempt at copy turning, which although not 100% is close enough for me.

Over all quite chuffed with meself.

Watch out with the wood collecting habit Taz, I started with a small store at the back of my garage and now have filled a further 2 sheds and the greenhouse. I have been banned from going to the local tip as I usually bring back more than I take.

That's a really ingenious design - can well see a lot of those appearing around the place!
Only suggestion would be to put metal liners in the candle sockets. From experience, daughters are inclined to put candles in them, light them and then get absorbed in other activities, which can end with an "interesting" smell of burning timber....................
