Very nice how do you find these sell. On the bud vases are they inserts in them If so which ones do you use. I have made pestles and mortars before but never though of making the pestle that shape even though looking at yours I have similar shaped ones.
Do you find that going back to basic forms and usable items that you enjoy making them as much as the "arty" type stuff

The m&p's, dried flower vases, ear ring stands etc along with a load of other cheaper things are the better sellers at most fairs, anything under £20 in fact. I usually make a batch up at a time for example this week I have done about 1/2 dozen of each along with a load of shawl pins, brooches. I don't usually put inserts in the vases as they are sold for dried flower or grass arranging. I have done slightly larger ones and used test tubes that I can get from online lab providers. Works out a heck of a lot cheaper than buying things that are custom made for wood turners LOL and they come in all different sizes in glass or plastic. Going back to making things like this lets me chill out a bit in a way and is also a way of using up a load of offcuts and smaller pieces of wood that build up.
