hi all,
new to the forum but have read some good stuff on here and some good banter to go with it. I'm interested in turning and located in Sunderland and would enjoy some banter with a local turner to see what could turn up no pun intended. i have a small garage workshop witch i'm never happy with and like to change around on a regular basis. i have a axminster hobby series lathe and i'm in the process of getting a couple of tools together and starting to turn some nice looking bowls. In my head and idea shared is an idea bettered so there you go

If you search for woodturning clubs on ye old google, or go to the AWGB website, you should find something local - they are usually a very friendly and helpful bunch.
