A chicken walked into a library and went up to the counter.
"Buk", it said to the librarian, who was rather astonished. After a moment to collect herself, the librarian thought she would help out. She reached for a book, stamped it and then handed it to the chicken. The chicken tucked the book under its wing and walked out.
The next day the chicken walked in again.
"Buk, buk" it said.
This time the librarian was ready. She stamped two books and handed them over. With one book under each wing the chicken strode off. The librarian was intrigued.
The very next day the chicken walked in yet again.
"Buk, buk, buk", it said.
The librarian duly handed over three books and the chicken walked out. The curiosity was too much for the librarian, so she decided to follow the chicken to see what it did with the books. She followed it to the town square, where a fountain splashed into a pond with lilies in the middle. Sat on a lily was a fat green frog.
The librarian watched in amazement as the chicken carefully picked its way across the pond and lilies to the frog. The chicken handed over a book.
"Reddit!", said the frog, tossing the book into a corner of the pond. The frog handed over the second book.
"Reddit!" belched the frog, throwing the second book after the first.
"Reddit!" was the frog's reply on being given the third.
