I have one in my shop and I highly recommned it, I don't use it all the time because during this weather I tend to get a really good flow of air through the shop, its used mainly in the winter when all the doors and windows are closed.

I've a Jet air filter for a while now. I'm very pleased with the unit, it does the job well. The only downside is the noise, the rotor blade cage is mounted to the motor shaft with a hex bolt. This seems to cause a slight imbalance which results in a resonance humm while operating. And when spinning down there's a very slight ticking just before final stop. Do'nt get me wrong this is not loud it's just noticeable.

I bought the 1000 unit about 3 weeks ago, and well it really makes a differece. :D I'm sure you will benefit from the unit. Just do a quick m3 of workshop. It's not absolute but gives you an idea if the machine will cope.

Ditto, but I leave it on all the time when I'm in the shop as it is quiet.
