Hi All.

Purchased these chisels recently on ebay.

They are from the U.S..A, and are old warehouse stock, and have never been used.

The size of the chisels are 1/8, 1/8, 3/8, & 3/16.

Question. Are these Sash Mortise Chisels.

Hi Neil.

Sorry about that. Got off the subject a bit.

Just took notice that "Jake" was a Master Cabinetmaker.

I shouldn't take any notice of that!

It just means I've made too many posts on here.

You're alright mate. Didn't mean any disrespect, just reminded me of all the posts I have put in late at night. As a rule I leave the forum alone after the pub!!!

I wouldn't call myself a furniture maker either! Messmaker, yes.

Back to the thread, the chisels look lovely, I have a pile of old sorby sash mortice chisels, all with the plastoc handles, which are great chisels, but ugly. I do have 'pretty' mortice chisels,, but am afraid to use 'em!!

Cheers mate

Neil
