I am having trouble getting around.
They gave me a zimmer frame, but a physiotherapist visited our home today and gave me some stick, said I must not put my bad foot to the ground to give me any support when getting around. They state that all weight must be carried by my right leg. (that leg is missing a lot of kneecap and the leg does not normally carry my full weight.)
My right leg does not like the idea, neither does the hip joint, and my back is aching. And I still have over 6 weeks to go.
I need the old fashion type of wooden crutches that goes under the arm pits. It appears they do not do them anymore (they were wooden and most probable not mass produced like the modern stuff with arm & hand grip.
Anyone know a location for those old fashion ones or anyone in the mood for knocking a pair up for me?
