Is it difficult or expensive in the UK? I my area all houses run 3 phase by default, we get it rewired as 1 phase where needed and we also use 3 phase where we can. It's much more cost effective.

Single phase is standard in UK homes; 3 phase can be installed alongside, or a phase converter used, at additional cost.

So for someone already set up, in some way, to run 3ph equipment, and is local, that is indeed a low cost extractor.
