Is there any way of dating this chisel?

Is there any way of estimating the age? I have had a look online but no luck.

Closest you will get is finding it in old tool catalogues. My best guess is 1940 to 1960tes. It's a very nice old chisel and in very good condition.
I found a couple of catalogues on line so if you have the time you may spot it.

I did not spot it in the 65 but there are a few others. Happy hunting.

Thanks, I hadn't seen a 'marks' page. I have looked through some old catalogues but couldn't really narrow it down.

I have a very similar one which dates from the mid 1960's. It can be hard with some Marples chisels as they changed stamps quite a bit over the years. My oldest has a water transfer and red badging and I think that's a very early one dating back to the turn of the last century and still going strong! It was part of a small set which belonged to a dear old friend (RIP) who was a cabinet maker in business from the 1940s
