I run a 1 1/4" two skip on my bandsaw, so I think that I will pass!

I do know of a fool that tried to sharpen a pencil on a table saw once though! And yep, surprise surprise, he lost a couple of fingers!!

It's just you mate, need to get out more

Cheers, Paul (just wondering if it would actually work :-k ) :D

I did once get impatient with some double cream that was reluctant to thicken by hand. So I chucked a wooden spoon in my Wolf electric drill (pre-cordless-technology) and tried that.

There was congealed cream on the kitchen curtains until the day I moved out. It may still be there.

I remember reading in an article somewhere that Frank Klausz slices frozen bagels on his bandsaw, so you're in venerable company Brad.

I wonder what the differences between a meat saw and a wood/metal saw would be?

I have used a hard point hand saw to cut a large frozen joint of meat in half. Had to give it a good clean before I used it on wood again.

I may be wrong, but I beleive that saws designed specifically for cutting meat are mainly fabricated from stainless steel.

For some strange reason, as well as being ss, meat bandsaws always seem to have the column on the right Can't see any reason why. but there it is.
WRT stirring paint, don't forget and take the drill stirrer out of the paint while it's still spinning. Especially not if you are wearing a brand new respectable shirt, and "just thought you'd see what the colour looked like when stirred". Gloss paint is a devil to remove from cloth.....
