you will need to give a few more details of your business. Is it just you or are you employing others?

I think you will find that public liability also covers product liability which is the only other cover I think is needed.

Buildings.
Tools,
Stock,
Goods in transit.
Loss of earnings.
Employers liability.
Personal injury,
critical illness
and on and on.
You pick where you draw the line.

I have product liability cover in my public liabilities insurance, speak to your public liability insurance supplier I’m sure they will tell you what cover you need.

The answer to this question is that it depends on the specifics of the business/trade that you are carrying on and your appetite for risk. For instance are you operating from your own premises, working on site, designing and making etc?

if you employ anyone you will need employers liability insurance.

Public Liability and Product Liability insurance are not the same thing although are commonly packaged into a combined liability type policy by insurers.

I would suggest getting proper advice either by speaking to insurers yourself or an insurance broker.
