Does anyone have advice on replacing a single skin up and over door with a modern insulated side hinged pair? I am insulating an attached garage. The manufacturers don’t seem to give an official thermal rating for these, unlike their up and over doors, but I need the roof and wall space. I’ve been looking at Cartek and Hormann, but if anyone has experience of other brands I would love to know. I need secure locking and frosted windows (I know that will reduce the insulation, but have no other daylight in there). Thanks in advance for any guidance.
