Absolutely not my project, came across this on LinkedIn. Post was by Joseph Sykes of Sykes timber and is one of their customers. Apparently western red cedar. Whoever did this is an absolute craftsman, an incredible project.

How many lbs/kgs did he/she just add to what is traditionally a "light-weight" trailer?
Probably quite lightweight esp if one skin..
It's the other stuff inside that weighs which will be the same whatever the skin..

You're covering the entire trailer, inside and out with strips of wood and copious amounts of glue, it's going to add some, no so insignificant, amount of weight.

Ever picked up a cedar strip planked canoe - very light indeed.
Id be suprised if it weighed more than aold svhool aluminium softwood, polystyrene, board, composite, or a bailey alutech...

A very nice veneer job, no doubt a promotional show piece.

Are you sure it’s not just a wrap like you would do to a car…? Just a thin film that you can get printed with any design… will go straight onto the aluminium with no weight🤷🏾‍♂️

Are you sure it's not the usual AI generated imagery. Look at the image of the interior and how none of the "boards" meet up properly.
