Found a used INCA bandsaw for 120 euros locally:

What can you tell me about these models? Googling right now but this has been a good place to check out too. It's not that large and I'd like a bigger saw later (considering building M. Wandels saw), still I think this looks better than spending a similar amount of money on a new jigsaw or similar.

Looks like I fond another good deal then. Let's see if this one like all the others get snatched up from me too :D

I sent the guy a message earlier this morning so lets hope its still there. I am hopeful most people in finland don't know or appreciate the INCA brand

That is the same model of Inca saw as mine.
I purchased it new in the late 1980's and it is the only bandsaw I have owned so I can't compare it to others but it has always done all I wanted it to do and I have never felt the need to replace it.
If you can buy it at that price then do it you will not regret it but bear in mind that if any parts are missing or broken spare parts are not readily available.

I have one I bought on eBay for £50. It works well, but is slightly odd in that the wheels/tyres aren't crowned and the manual tells you to hang the teeth over the edge. Works very well(with Tuff blades, of course!).

I got my Inca bandsaw a month ago for £80 well worth the 90 mile round trip complete with fences, circle guide and spare blades, its my first bandsaw and I am seriously impressed with it .

Never got a hold of the seller, he didn't seem to be interested in selling. I put up an ad instead and someone nearby wants to sell an old cast iron saw with 600mm wheel diameter for 150 euros. I want some more info on it first but it sounds like a big useful saw for little money, and perhaps in need of a renovation, but from what I see band saws are not that complex. Anything to look out for?

Oh and it's motorless.

Another guy just called and wants to sell a Scheppach, model unknown, 1200W he says, big one he claims, has a rolling base and claims its almost brand new, previous owner died recently. He wants 300 for that, claims a new price of 600

Well it looks like I am buying this bandsaw instead. Put out a wanted ad and got several responders, the best deal was this old swedish machine with a 3-phase motor:
