I do only have one woodworking machine... and it's a bandsaw
 
I thought it might be worth doing a quick analysis:

Nah, I'd say it's allowed.

For those who've said drills, I should have probably said that I don't really count drills.
 
I don’t have a preference so I must go to the one I use more often which is the table saw. This because I find sizing my own timber is more cost effective than buying P.A.R. from my local yard and where possible use re-cycled timber. I find local builders skip more than my needs and providing I ask they don’t mind me taking it. A newly acquired thicknesser is great for regularising stock and in particular with hardwoods. Hardwoods are expensive but the waney edge cuts off boards as waste come incredibly cheap so these two machines do pay there way.
