Hi Guys

Currently making a face frame cabinet for a tall 2 door fridge freezer unit. I want to put a dividing stile between the two doors, but of course I can only do this right at the end after the fridge/freezer has been installed, so it can't be part of the face frame proper.

Any of you got any recommendations for how I could attach it? Obviously it needs to be removable, should the fridge/freezer need to come out for any reason.

My idea was to do it with pocket screws on the underside of the stile, going into each of the rails. I can live with the hole on the underside of the stile - only toddlers would see it.. I'd drill and screw everything up when making the face frame, then remove it for installations, then all holes will be in place to easily re-attach it when everything else is done.

Knock down furniture block maybe? would give support over the full width of the stile unlike pocket screw from below alone.

Hmm interesting - not aware of these, but I'm struggling to picture how I'd use them. Do they sit in opposing mortises on the rails and stile ends, and connect together somehow?
