With all the hand tools stored temporarily on the table saw I couldn't resist taking a pic to have a sort of little gloat :lol:

This I find difficult to comprehend :^o My accumulation of planes is the merest trifle, a paltry twenty or so compared to the hardware in that pic, so how any meagre influence of mine has transcended the Tamar to the remotest parts of the wild lands out west is a total mystery :lol: ...

In justifying buying tools that's the best quote I've ever seen Tony in giving a reason to the often asked question of "Why do you need all that lot" of course the emphasis or outstanding word being "Choose"

Yes I can choose which is the best tool to use, or I can choose which way to do a job/project.

Now thinking back when I was a youngster trying to mend a puncture on my bike using two or three forks nicked out of my mums knife drawer (if you done it you know what I mean :lol: ) or trying to make bows and arrows and using the bread knife to cut them out of my dads hedge row :lol: yes thinking about it I never had the proper tools to do anything I suppose there lays the reason of why I've accumulated just a few more than average tools. It's a good answer and I'm sticking with it. :lol:
