I'm lucky to have access to some unusual machines at work... my worktop needed a crane and a wide thicknesser ..
This is an old German Kupfermuhle planer 1050mm wide that I used to produce my worktop from a single piece of pippy english oak...this is a little video clip..

Its actually a 4 side planer, but I wasn't brave enough to fire up the bottom head let alone the side ones!
 
Yes very lucky one could almost be forgiven for thinking that all you are doing is advertising machinery, strange that isn`t it.
