Bargain... :?

(I've seen ridiculous things like that before on BIN Fleabay items - I assume it's when the seller is short of stock but doesn't want to remove the listing.. or something)

Putting a daft price on something they're out of saves their relisting it - they just put the price back to normal when in stock.

Silverline is dire, but these are good -

I use them once in a while to add to something I want to make up £20, then sell them at the club for cost (without any P&P) - everyone wins.

I have one of those, not silverline though! lol. They are very handy actually.

Never seen the brand silverline, but the naming convention reminds me of the chevrolet celebrity - a car that no celebrity would be seen in, but I guess when they named it what it was "vanilla turd", the marketing group decided they should make a spoof out of the instead.

presumably "silverline" was preferable to "potmetal third world line".

When I'm searching for something, I always start at "lowest price" first, but if that pulls up a 100 pages of 10 pence spare parts, then I go to "dearest first" and work my way back to the price I want to pay.

I was looking for a protractor (xmas list time). I was shocked when I saw the price, but that was nothing compared to when I saw the make!!!
I have often wondered why there is always a completely stupid price for things on the dearest list, now I know it saves them money on relisting. I wonder if anybody actually buys them? Its not something you would boast about though so I suppose I shall never know.
